Chery UAE, under the AW Rostamani Group, has introduced the TIGGO 9 Bold Edition, a variant that focuses largely on stylized updates rather than mechanical changes. The release leans into cosmetic revisions intended to give the SUV a more assertive look, a common strategy for manufacturers seeking to extend interest in an existing model without overhauling its core engineering.
The exterior updates revolve around darker accents and contrasting details. Carbon-fiber-style elements appear on the front bumper, side mirrors, and rear diffuser, while the wheels are finished in black paint. Depending on configuration, the brake calipers come in red or orange, and the vehicle’s badging is blacked out to reinforce the limited-edition theme. A gloss-black rear spoiler and a “Special Edition” badge complete the exterior treatment, making the Bold Edition visually distinct without altering its silhouette.

Inside, the changes continue with an Alcantara-finished roof and pillars, which aim to lend the cabin a more upscale feel despite the minimal structural changes. A “White Starlight” ceiling illumination feature adds ambient lighting, and some trims include orange leather upholstery—an option that fits the current trend of using bright interior colorways to differentiate special editions.
Buyers can also opt into extra finishing choices such as matte exterior paint and a Nano Ceramic coating designed to improve surface durability and UV resistance. These add-ons position the Bold Edition more as a customization package than a reimagining of the SUV.

Underneath the style updates, the model retains its standard technology suite. This includes a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch central touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, voice control, wireless charging, and an eight-speaker audio setup. The full driver-assistance suite carries over unchanged, keeping the Bold Edition aligned with the regular TIGGO 9’s feature set.
The Bold Edition is now available at Chery UAE showrooms, offering prospective buyers a version of the TIGGO 9 that emphasizes appearance and personalization rather than mechanical updates.
