Cadillac is introducing its updated CT5 lineup and expanding its electric offerings in the Middle East with the launch of the LYRIQ SUV. The move signals a dual-track strategy that emphasizes both internal combustion performance and electric mobility, as the brand adapts its legacy nameplates while expanding into battery-powered territory.

Leading the refresh is the 2025 CT5, available in standard form as well as two performance variants: the CT5-V and the high-output CT5-V Blackwing. Updates across the range include a redesigned front fascia, Cadillac’s signature vertical lighting, and a 33-inch curved LED display that dominates the dashboard. The interior prioritizes driver-centric ergonomics and digital connectivity.

The CT5-V is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine, delivering 360 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque, while the CT5-V Blackwing houses a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 capable of producing 668 horsepower and 893 Nm of torque—figures that make it Cadillac’s most powerful production sedan to date. Both trims benefit from magnetic ride control, Brembo braking systems, and available carbon fiber exterior packages for additional weight savings and aerodynamic enhancements.

On the electrification front, the LYRIQ enters the Middle East as Cadillac’s second EV offering in the region. Built on GM’s Ultium platform, the LYRIQ features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup producing 515 horsepower and 610 Nm of torque. It offers an estimated driving range of up to 463 kilometers on a full charge.

Charging is handled via DC fast charging at speeds up to 150 kW, allowing roughly 130 kilometers of range to be added in 15 minutes under optimal conditions. Each vehicle purchase includes a 22 kW Level 2 wall-box charger for home use, along with a dual-voltage portable cable for more flexible charging options.

Inside the LYRIQ, a curved 33-inch 9K LED display serves as the focal point for both infotainment and vehicle data. The cabin is equipped with 19 AKG Studio speakers, next-gen active noise cancellation, customizable ambient lighting with 126 color choices, and integrated Google services for navigation and voice assistance. In-car Wi-Fi and remote connectivity via the myCadillac app further extend the vehicle’s functionality.

Safety features across both the CT5 and LYRIQ include Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning—bringing Cadillac in line with modern expectations for driver assistance systems.

With the arrival of the updated CT5 range and the all-electric LYRIQ, Cadillac is clearly aiming to appeal to a broader spectrum of drivers in the Middle East—those who still seek traditional high-performance sedans and those ready to transition to premium electric mobility. Both models are now available through selected Cadillac dealerships in the region.
