Logitech is betting that the conference room is about to get much smarter, and it wants to be the company that wires it. The Swiss hardware maker has announced what it calls the largest enterprise launch in its history. The lineup is led by Rally Bar 2, a modular Rally System 2 Pro for big and divisible spaces, and a new speaker technology called Sound Shape.
Rally Bar 2 matters most right now because it replaces one of the most common all-in-one video bars in mid-sized meeting rooms. The new model runs on a Qualcomm chipset that Logitech says delivers four times the edge AI processing of various other video bars. That comparison is vague enough that IT buyers will want independent benchmarks before believing it. The hardware also gets a custom lens with a 1-inch sensor, four speakers, six beamforming microphones and Logitech’s Right Sound 3 audio processing.
The bigger change is in the sensors. Rally Bar 2 can detect occupancy and environmental conditions, book a room automatically when people walk in, and send usage data back to facilities teams. For companies still rethinking how much office space they need, that data may be worth more than any camera spec. It also raises fair questions about how companies explain this kind of monitoring to their staff.
The bar is certified for Microsoft Teams, Zoom Rooms and Google Meet, and it runs on Microsoft’s Device Ecosystem Platform, which brings Microsoft’s security framework to the device. Logitech says one person can install it in minutes, and its aluminum body is designed to be easier to recycle.
Larger rooms are where Logitech is pushing hardest. Rally System 2 Pro is built around RoomMate 2 Pro, a Qualcomm-powered compute box that can run up to three 4K displays plus multiple cameras, speakers and mic pods. It works with Android, PC or bring-your-own-device setups. It pairs with the Rally AI Camera Pro, which combines a wide-angle 1-inch sensor with an optical PTZ camera, and with Logitech Link, which connects devices over standard network cables without extenders or PoE injectors. The pitch is fewer vendors in the rooms that take up the most IT time.
Sound Shape tackles another long-standing problem. Rally Speaker 2 Pro, with 32 micro-drivers, and Rally Speaker 2 Max, with 64, use focused acoustic beams to spread sound evenly across rooms up to 20 metres deep. Rooms that size have usually needed ceiling speaker arrays. If it works as claimed, boardrooms and training rooms could get simpler, cheaper installs.
Rally Bar 2, Tap IP 2 and Tap Scheduler 2 are rolling out now. The Rally System 2 Pro hardware and the Rally Speaker 2 range follow in summer 2027, and Right Sight 3 multi-camera switching arrives as a free CollabOS update in the second half of 2027. Logitech hasn’t announced prices, and those will decide how quickly offices actually upgrade.
