TCL has spent the better part of a decade turning itself into one of the most recognisable names in televisions, and it is now pointing that same display know-how at the desk. The company has launched its first monitor lineup in the UAE, a 2026 range that runs from a 32-inch OLED flagship down to an entry-level gaming panel.
TCL’s pitch is that gaming monitors have been sold on refresh rate for too long, and that contrast, brightness and colour deserve equal billing. That argument makes sense coming from a TV maker. Its living-room sets have built their reputation on Mini LED backlighting and quantum dot colour, and the monitor range borrows heavily from both.
The headline model is the TCL 32X3A, a 32-inch 4K panel the company labels “OLED+”. TCL quotes peak brightness of up to 1,300 nits, which is ambitious for an OLED and almost certainly refers to a small highlight window rather than full-screen output. The monitor also uses a dual-mode setup, switching between 4K at 240Hz and Full HD at 480Hz. Rival 32-inch OLEDs already offer the same trick, so it’s less a differentiator than a requirement for entry into this tier. The more unusual addition is front-firing spatial audio tuned by Bang & Olufsen, a first for a TCL monitor, alongside an anti-glare, low-reflection coating meant to protect black levels in bright rooms. Built-in monitor speakers have historically been an afterthought, so whether this one actually removes the need for headphones or desktop speakers remains to be seen.

Below the flagship sits the P-Series. The 27P3A Pro is the most interesting of the group, pairing QD-Mini LED with 1,196 local dimming zones and a refresh rate of up to 320Hz. Dimming zone counts in that range should give it meaningful HDR contrast without OLED’s burn-in worries, though blooming around bright objects is always the trade-off. The 27P2A targets competitive QHD players with a Mini LED backlight, a 200Hz panel and AMD FreeSync Premium, while the 25P1A serves as the budget-friendly way into the range for everyday gaming and productivity.
The lineup is available now through UAE electronics retailers and online stores
