Saitama has landed in PUBG Mobile, and the bald hero who ends every fight with one swing is now dropping onto a battle royale island where he’ll need a rifle, a helmet and some luck like everyone else. The One-Punch Man crossover is live now and runs until October 19, 2026, which gives players a little over three weeks to grab the themed content before it rotates out.
As usual with these partnerships, the collaboration is almost entirely cosmetic. The main attraction is the character sets. Saitama and Genos lead the lineup, joined by Terrible Tornado, Hellish Blizzard and two versions of Garou. Three more outfits, the Ordinary Hero, Strongest Man on Earth and Watchdog Man sets, round out the wardrobe. Traversal gets the same treatment, with a One-Punch Man parachute, a Phoenix Man glider and, in a nice nod to one of the series’ most likeable underdogs, a Mumen Rider bicycle with a matching Mumen Rider buddy.
The weapon skins show someone on the licensing side actually knows the source material. There’s a One-Punch Kar98K, and the machete has been reskinned as Saitama’s grocery bag, a callback to a hero who treats supermarket sales with more urgency than monster attacks. Both skins come in three levels. So do the Saitama helmet and One-Punch Man backpack. Emotes recreating Justice Enforcement and Genos’ mentor Bang’s Fist of Flowing Water Crushing Rock technique, Saitama and Garou voice packs, avatars, graffiti, ornaments and Home statues fill out the rest.
A collectible card pack featuring Saitama, Genos, Tornado, Blizzard, King, Watchdog Man and Garou can be earned through dedicated event activities or redemption. Beyond that, the announcement doesn’t say how most of the premium gear will be distributed or what it will cost. Given PUBG Mobile’s long reliance on lucky spins and crate systems for its headline collaborations, players chasing the full Saitama look should probably budget accordingly until the in-game details are clear.
This is well-trodden ground for the Tencent and Krafton co-developed shooter, which has previously run anime tie-ins with Evangelion, Jujutsu Kaisen and Dragon Ball Super. Those crossovers have become a dependable way to keep a nearly decade-old battle royale feeling current, and to reach anime fans who might not otherwise open the app.
One-Punch Man is a slightly odd fit, though. The whole joke of the series is that Saitama is bored because nothing can challenge him. In PUBG Mobile, he’ll be as vulnerable to a third-party squad in the final circle as anyone else. That irony may end up being the most authentic part of the whole crossover.
