Beats has unveiled the Beats 360, a new pair of flagship over-ear headphones that combines upgraded noise cancellation with an unusual attempt to make premium headphones more customizable — removable ear and headband cushions.
Priced at AED 1,299.00, the Beats 360 can be ordered now across more than 100 countries and regions, with retail availability beginning September 24. Buyers can choose Black, Cloud, Pink or Sky.

The bigger technical upgrade is a redesigned acoustic platform built around custom drivers featuring three-layer diaphragms and two neodymium magnets per driver. Beats claims the system reduces distortion while improving bass response and detail, although those improvements will need listening tests before they can be meaningfully judged.
Active Noise Cancellation has been upgraded too. According to Beats, the combination of active and passive isolation can deliver up to 1.75 times the noise reduction of Beats Studio Pro under its cited testing conditions. Transparency mode and Adaptive EQ remain, while Personalized Spatial Audio uses motion sensors inside the headphones for dynamic head tracking. Dolby Atmos is supported with compatible material.
The more distinctive idea is physical customization. Beats 360 ships with Performance Knit memory-foam cushions covering both the earcups and headband. All three pieces can be removed and replaced, allowing users to swap colors or move to the company’s UltraPlush engineered-leather option. Replacement cushion kits will cost AED 209.00.

Beats has also given the headphones an IPX4 rating, making this its first over-ear model officially rated for sweat and water resistance. That should make them more practical for workouts, although IPX4 is protection against splashes rather than permission to submerge them.
Battery life is rated at up to 32 hours with ANC and Personalized Spatial Audio enabled, while Beats lists 24 hours when using Transparency mode. A five-minute USB-C charge can provide up to an hour of playback.
Apple users get features including Automatic Switching, Audio Sharing, Find My and hands-free Siri, while Android support includes Fast Pair, Audio Switch and Find Hub. The headphones use Bluetooth 5.3 and fold flat into an included carrying case.
At AED 1,299.00, Beats 360 isn’t chasing value buyers. The more interesting question is whether stronger ANC, workout-friendly protection and replaceable cushions are enough to make them stand out in an increasingly crowded premium headphone market.
