Rúben Neves tops Roshn Saudi League ratings in EA SPORTS FC 27

EA Sports has revealed the highest-rated Roshn Saudi League players in EA SPORTS FC 27, and Cristiano Ronaldo has been beaten to the top spot. Al Hilal midfielder Rúben Neves leads the Saudi league rankings with an overall rating of 85, one point ahead of Ronaldo and two other players rated 84.

Ronaldo takes second place with an 84 overall rating at striker for Al Nassr. Al Hilal midfielder Sergej Milinković-Savić and Al Qadsiah forward Julián Quiñones also receive 84 ratings, putting the trio immediately behind Neves in the latest edition of EA’s football series.

The rankings offer another indication of how much the Roshn Saudi League’s in-game talent pool has changed following several years of high-profile recruitment. European football veterans remain prominent, but the ratings are not simply ordered according to global name recognition. Karim Benzema, for example, sits 12th with an 82 rating, while Sadio Mané is rated 82 and ranks 17th.

Several players occupy the 83 tier. Al Nassr’s Iñigo Martínez, Kingsley Coman and João Félix make the group, alongside Al Hilal full-back João Cancelo. Al Ahli contributes Ivan Toney, Trincão and Ibañez, all rated 83.

Al Hilal has particularly strong representation further down the list. Kalidou Koulibaly, Yassine Bounou, Malcom and Theo Hernández each receive an 82 overall rating. The club’s concentration of highly rated players helps explain why it features so heavily among FC 27’s leading Saudi league cards.

Elsewhere, Al Ittihad’s Danilo Pereira and Moussa Diaby are rated 82, as is Al Shabab winger Yannick Carrasco. Al Qadsiah goalkeeper Koen Casteels also receives an 82. The ratings then move into the low 80s, with Nacho Fernández, Édouard Mendy, Galeno and Mateo Retegui receiving 81 ratings. Al Nassr goalkeeper Bento rounds out the revealed top 27 with an 80.

EA says FC 27 ratings are informed by real-world match data. As ever, the numerical scores remain part performance assessment and part game-balancing exercise, which is precisely why annual ratings reveals tend to generate as much disagreement as interest among players and football fans.

The Saudi league reveal arrives alongside a four-year renewal of the partnership between EA SPORTS FC and the Roshn Saudi League. The agreement means RSL clubs and players will continue to be represented across the FC series.

EA plans to release the complete EA SPORTS FC 27 base item database on August 21 at 8pm Saudi time. The wider game includes more than 21,000 players, 800 clubs and national teams, over 140 stadiums and more than 35 leagues.

EA SPORTS FC 27 launches worldwide on September 25, 2026, across PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Ultimate Edition and Ultimate Plus Edition buyers receive early access from September 18.

For Saudi football followers, though, the first argument of FC 27 has already arrived: the league’s biggest global name remains Ronaldo, but according to EA’s numbers, Rúben Neves is currently its best-rated player.
