Samsung UAE TV campaign delivers football viewing upgrades

Samsung has rolled out a limited-time TV promotion in the UAE, timed to coincide with the football season and the FIFA World Cup 2026. Running until July 17, the offer provides up to 25 percent off select models, along with up to 12 months of complimentary streaming access and a free TOD by beIN subscription for eligible buyers. The campaign highlights larger premium sets, including the OLED S95F and Neo QLED models in 115-inch and 100-inch sizes, positioning them as upgrades for home viewing of major matches.

The initiative arrives as football viewing remains a significant social event in UAE households. Rather than overhauling living rooms entirely, the promotion focuses on practical enhancements to picture quality and connectivity during peak sports periods. The OLED S95F stands out with its 4K panel that aims to deliver sharper details and better contrast for live action. Features such as AI Football Mode Pro automatically adjust settings when detecting a match, while updated glare reduction technology helps maintain visibility in brighter environments common in Dubai homes. For everyday use and gaming, it includes support for higher refresh rates up to 165Hz, variable refresh rate compatibility with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync, plus HDR enhancements that balance highlights and blacks. The slim Infinity One Design with a separate One Connect Box keeps cable management relatively tidy.

Larger Neo QLED options extend the lineup for those seeking a more immersive scale. These sets use Vision AI to adjust picture and sound dynamically according to content, which can prove useful across sports, movies, and general viewing. While big screens have grown more accessible in recent years, the 100-inch and 115-inch variants still represent a substantial investment, raising questions about whether the added size truly enhances the experience in typical apartment layouts versus dedicated media rooms.

The bundled TOD by beIN subscription provides access to FIFA World Cup 2026 matches, with options for streaming on multiple devices depending on the pass chosen. Additional features like MultiView, 4K HDR support on compatible setups, interactive elements, and automatic highlights add layers to the broadcast. Beyond football, the platform includes a mix of Arabic, Turkish, and Western programming. The separate StreamPass component grants temporary access to various regional streaming services, extending value after the initial football focus fades.

Critically, such campaigns reflect the broader trend of tying hardware sales to content bundles, a strategy that helps offset high upfront costs but ties consumers to specific ecosystems. Picture optimizations and AI features sound promising on paper, yet real-world results often depend on room conditions, source material, and user expectations shaped by past viewing habits. Earlier generations of similar TVs showed incremental gains rather than transformative leaps, suggesting buyers should weigh demonstrated performance against marketing claims.

Available through Samsung’s website, brand stores, and participating retailers across the UAE, the promotion targets those considering an upgrade before the tournament. Details on qualifying models and full terms appear on the official site. In a market where premium displays compete fiercely on both features and price, this offer provides a timely window for evaluation without requiring immediate commitment.
