With Disney+ launched in Europe recently, the company is now looking to enter the MENA market. The service will be available through OSN soon.
OSN teased the launch of Disney+ on it’s social media, with images of the Disney+ Original “Star Wars: The Mandalorian”, with the words “Landing Soon on OSN”.

It’s now confirmed that OSN will be bringing Disney+ on-demand original programming to the Middle East as part of its rebrand of its on-demand streaming platform WAVO which will launch today. Disney+ Originals content will be available in the Middle East from 9th April, through both OSN’s box and streaming service.
The new package will cost US$9.50 per month. WAVO subscribers will be updated to the new app and will be retained at the price of USD 5 should they wish to continue said Patrick Tillieux, CEO of OSN in an exclusive interview with BroadcastPro ME.

Clarifying some confusion circulating, OSN has confirmed that it will be showing Disney+ original content only, and not the actual Disney+ streaming service (which has been rolled out in Europe).
